By Matt Snyder | Baseball Writer

FULL NFL Playoff coverage via Eye on Football

With the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks set to square off in the NFC Championship game Sunday, for the right to head to the Super Bowl, each respective city is obviously rallying around its team. That includes the San Francisco Giants and Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball and whoever runs each respective Twitter account.

Follow the chain here.

First, the Giants simply post something about Niners quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

Next, the Mariners reply with a similar sentiment about Seahawks signal-caller Russell Wilson.

And now, the Giants decided to get into a Twitter brawl:

Boom! The Mariners aren't about to take it lying down. And it was, as they say, on.

Most of our CBSSports.com staff is picking the Seahawks and the NFC title game takes place Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT.
