Hall of Famer Hank Aaron underwent successful partial left hip surgery on Friday night, the Braves announced. He fell on some ice and is expected to make a full recovery within 6-8 weeks.

Aaron, 80, was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1982. He is still the all-time home run leader among right-handed hitters with 755. Aaron retired as a .305/.374/.555 (155 OPS+) career hitter after a 23-year career with the Milwaukee and Atlanta Braves.
