On Thursday, two suspects pleaded guilty in the vicious 2011 beating of Giants fan Bryan Stow outside Dodger Stadium. The assault left Stow in a coma and perhaps permanently disabled and in need of medical care for the rest of his life.

The AP reports that defendant Marvin Norwood pleaded guilty to one count of assault likely to produce great bodily injury, and co-defendant Louie Sanchez pleaded guilty to one count of mayhem that disabled and disfigured the victim. Norwood has been sentenced to four years in state prison, while Sanchez received an eight-year sentence.
