Free agent right-hander Ervin Santana, perhaps in response to the market's unwillingness to meet his contract demands, may be looking to switch agents, Ken Rosenthal of FoxSports.com reports. Santana is presently represented by ProFormance.

Santana, as CBSSports.com's Jon Heyman reported earlier, has been in recent discussions with the Orioles, Rangers, Mariners, Rockies and Blue Jays and is seeking something close to $50 million over four seasons.

The 31-year-old is coming off a 2013 season in which he pitched to a 3.24 ERA (127 ERA+) and 3.16 K/BB ratio in 211 innings for the Royals. For his career, Santana owns an ERA+ of 100 across parts of nine major-league seasons. In 2008 with the Angels, he made the All-Star team and finished sixth in the AL Cy Young balloting.
