The struggling Royals bullpen lost a pair of arms to injury on Monday. The team has placed lefties Tim Collins and Francisley Bueno on the 15-day disabled list. In Collins's case, he's suffering from elbow inflammation (Andy McCullough tweets that an MRI showed no structural damage), while Bueno has a sprained finger on his pitching hand.

Collins, 24, has an ERA of 3.68 (113 ERA+) and 1.80 K/BB ratio across parts of four big-league seasons. As for Bueno, 33, he owns a 1.86 ERA in 29 innings spread over four seasons. Each has struggled in the early going this season.

To replace Collins and Bueno on the active roster, the Royals have recalled right-hander Michael Mariot and left-hander Donnie Joseph from Triple-A Omaha.
