The Rockies have lost another starting pitcher to injury. Ace Jhoulys Chacin has not yet pitched this season due to a shoulder problem, and now left-hander Brett Anderson is going to join him on the DL after suffering a finger injury on Saturday.

It should be noted Anderson hurt his finger during an at-bat, not the act of pitching. The sooner the NL adopts the DH, the happier I'll be.

Anderson, 26, has a lengthy injury history, including foot, elbow, adominal, knee, thumb, back and blister problems. The elbow issue eventually required Tommy John surgery. He threw only 275 1/3 innings from 2010-13.

In three starts this season, Anderson is 0-2 with a 3.60 ERA (124 ERA+).
