PHOTO: Matt Harvey celebrates TJ surgery 6-month anniversary

Six months ago today, Mets right-hander Matt Harvey underwent Tommy John surgery and had his elbow rebuilt. The recovery time is usually 12-18 months, so there's nothing particularly special about a six-month anniversary, except Harvey celebrated the date by tweeting out this photo:

For the uncensored version, check out the original tweet. I'm guessing Harvey will hear about that photo, either from the team or the league. Probably both.

Anyway, Harvey is currently playing catch as he rehabs from the surgery. He is right on schedule so far.

UPDATE: Not only was the original tweet deleted, but Harvey's entire Twitter account is gone. Don't worry, here's a screen cap of the uncensored photo. Here's what the Mets had to say:
