Ace right-hander Jhoulys Chacin will make his first start of the season on Sunday, the Rockies announced. He started the year on the DL due to a shoulder problem.

Chacin, 26, used his sinker to go 14-10 with a 3.47 ERA and a 46.8 ground ball percentage last season. He only allowed 10 home runs in 197 1/3 innings, including only six in 116 1/3 innings at Coors Field. That's pretty amazing. Chacin also ranked ninth in baseball with 5.8 WAR.

Chacin will essentially replace Tyler Chatwood in the rotation. Chatwood recently went down with an elbow injury. Chacin had a 5.00 ERA in four minor league rehab starts.
