On his way to the ballpark Wednesday morning, Nationals manager Matt Williams was rear-ended during a live radio interview with 106.7 The Fan's Junkies. Apparently the person who hit him was in the middle of a high-speed chase with police.

Williams is fine, thankfully. His Chevy Tahoe? Not so much. Here's the audio, courtesy of CBS DC:

"Sorry guys, I just had an accident," said Williams, calmly and politely. "I've got a police officer behind me. This guy's gonna try to escape. The guy's running. He just ran right into the back of me. I just got rear-ended by a guy in a car. Hold on. This guy's crashing into people."

After describing the accident and the scene, Williams went right back to talking about baseball. The guy is committed to his craft, I'll give him that. Glad he and everyone else are okay.
