Play between the Braves and Brewers was halted for a few minutes on Monday night because the giant video board at Turner Field went bonkers. The visual evidence:
Because the video board is in dead center field and right in the batter's (and catcher's and umpire's) line of sight, it was turned off completely so play could resume, according to Tom Haudricourt of the Journal Sentinel.
I had that happen to a computer monitor once and it was beyond repair. Needed a new one. Luckily for the Braves, the Turner Field video board started working properly a few innings later.
