After losing slugger and first baseman Jose Abreu to the disabled list over the weekend, the White Sox got some good injury news on Wednesday:

Sale, 25, has missed more than a month with a flexor strain in his elbow. He struck out 11 in a four-inning minor league rehab start over the weekend and threw a bullpen session on Tuesday. Obviously the team believes he is healthy and ready to return to the rotation.
In four starts and 27 1/3 innings before getting hurt, Sale went 3-0 with a 2.30 ERA. He has gone 31-22 with a 3.01 ERA and a 4.30 K/BB ratio since moving into the rotation during the 2012 season, establishing himself as one of the very best pitchers in baseball.
