Red Sox right fielder Shane Victorino missed the first 22 games of the season with a right hamstring strain and that same issue has again landed on the disabled list. The Red Sox announced the move Saturday afternoon with Daniel Nava being recalled as a corresponding move.

Victorino re-aggravated his injury in his final plate appearance Friday night in Tampa Bay.

Victorino, 33, is hitting .242/.276/.352 (72 OPS+) with five doubles, one triple, one homer, 10 RBI, 10 runs and two steals in 21 games this season.

With Victorino on the shelf, Jonny Gomes is getting the start in right field Saturday, while Grady Sizemore is in left. Nava will also factor in on the corners moving forward.

The Red Sox enter Saturday with an eight-game losing streak -- the club's longest since losing its final eight games of the 2012 season.
