More No-Hitter: Perry: Can Beckett continue pitching well in 2014?

The Dodgers have placed catcher A.J. Ellis on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained ankle, the team announced. He hurt himself while celebrating Josh Beckett's no-hitter on Sunday:

Ellis, 33, is hitting only .170/.350/.213 (65 OPS+) with more walks (12) than strikeouts (10) so far this season. He has put up a .250/.347/.380 (104 OPS+) batting line since taking over as the team's starting catcher during the 2012 season.

With Ellis out, the Dodgers will rely on Drew Butera and Tim Federowicz behind the plate. There is no timetable for Ellis' return at the moment.
