What follows likely is not breaking news to some of you, but since I haven't darkened the door of the Rogers Center -- home of the fightin' and first-place Blue Jays -- in a few years, it is to me. Therein lies the sky-scraping importance of what follows.

Thine eyes do not tell tales: That's a vending machine brimming with unopened packs of baseball cards largely sourced from the 1980s and 1990s, when we were kings, you and I. Worth a spare toonie, is what this is!
