The Rockies on Monday placed outfielder Michael Cuddyer on the disabled list with a shoulder injury. Hours later, Cuddyer himself revealed the extent of the damage:

Chances are, that's going to take quite a while to heal. According to Jenny Cavnar, Cuddyer also said he's likely out six to eight weeks.

This, of course, comes on the same day that the team learned that fellow outfielder Carlos Gonzalez will soon undergo exploratory surgery on his injured finger.

As for Cuddyer, he's once again been producing when healthy: .317/.366/.500 (124 OPS+) in 31 games. He's in the final year of a three-year, $31.5-million contract.
