Earlier this week, Hall of Fame hitting machine Tony Gwynn passed away at age 54. He was, quite simply, the greatest player in the history of the Padres franchise.

The Padres have been on the road these last few days, and on Wednesday night they will play their first home game since Gwynn's death. The grass in right field -- Gwynn's old position -- at Petco Park will have a new look for the game:

Excellent. Wednesday's game will surely be incredibly emotional.
