On Saturday in College World Series play in Omaha, Virginia topped Ole Miss by a score of 4-1, and Vanderbilt nipped Texas 4-3 in 10 innings. That means Virginia and Vanderbilt will meet in the best-of-three final to determine the 2014 national champion.

Oh, before we proceed, please do admire the ridiculous and critically important catch made by Vandy outfielder Rhett Wiseman on Saturday night ...

That's some serious range, and bonus points for causing his hat to go "full Willie Mays."

Anyhow, the finals will pit against each other a pair of No. 1 seeds hailing from power conferences (this marks the seventh straight year that an SEC team has made the finals). Neither Vandy nor UVa has ever been in the finals before.

Here's how the schedule will go ...

Game 1: Monday, 8:00 pm ET
Game 2: Tuesday, 8:00 pm ET
Game 3 (if necessary): Wednesday, 8:00 pm ET
