Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper hasn't seen game action in the majors since April 25 because of torn ligaments in his left thumb, but he is presently wrapping up a minor-league rehab assignment and slated to come off the DL on Monday.

If the following tweet is any indication, then at least one of Harper's three spanks on the night was worthy of slack-jawed admiration ...
The Akron ballpark is a graveyard, and Bryce Harper just hit a ball off the scoreboard. Might want to be at Nats Park on Monday.— Adam Kilgore (@AdamKilgoreWP) June 29, 2014
So young Mr. Harper would appear to be ready to rejoin the Nats' active roster.
On the season, the 21-year-old is batting .289/.352/.422 with one homer in 21 games. The Nats are surely hoping that Harper's Saturday efforts are a sign of things to come.
