Dodgers: Josh Beckett was placed on the disabled list.

Indians: Justin Masterson was placed on the DL with a knee injury, as his nightmare of a contract year continued.

Orioles: Bud Norris was activated from the DL, as expected, to make his scheduled start.

Reds: Joey Votto was again placed on the disabled list.

Royals: They signed Joe Saunders to a minor-league deal.

Twins: Ricky Nolasco has landed on the DL.


Angels: The club would like another bullpen piece (ocregister.com).

Braves: They'd like a left-handed reliever via trade (ajc.com).

Cardinals: They have reportedly shown interest in Jake Peavy.

Phillies: General manager Ruben Amaro has said that he's ready to make some changes (philly.com).


Angels: Jered Weaver is feeling better and should avoid the DL (Angels.com).

Astros: Jason Castro has a "mystery injury," but it's improving (Ultimate Astros)

Brewers: Jim Henderson is taking his rehab to Double-A (Brewers.com).

Cardinals: Joe Kelly is expected to return to the rotation Friday (stltoday.com), which is great news for St. Louis, because Jaime Garcia is going to undergo season-ending surgery (stltoday.com).

Dodgers: Carl Crawford could return to the big-league club as soon as Thursday (Dodgers.com).

Orioles: As top pitching prospect Dylan Bundy works his way back from Tommy John surgery, he'll be limited to 75 pitches per start this season (Orioles.com).

Pirates: Francisco Liriano will return before the All-Star break.

Red Sox: Shane Victorino's rehab assignment has again been delayed by lingering back issues. He won't be back before the All-Star break (boston.com).

Tigers: Andy Dirks began his rehab assignment in Single-A (freep.com). Also, Joel Hanrahan is throwing off a mound, though has yet to face a hitter (tigers.com).


A's: An Oakland councilman has claimed the A's could move to either Montreal or San Antonio.

Home Run Derby: Eight of the 10 participants were officially announced.
