Former MLBer Chuck Knoblauch was arrested Wednesday night on charges of assaulting his ex-wife, report KHOU and the AP.
From that report:
Memorial Village police officers arrested Knoblauch and he was released after posting a $10,000 bond.
This isn't the Knoblauch's first brush with the law. He was convicted of hitting Stacey Stelmach, who he was married to at the time, in 2010. He was sentenced to one year of probation in that case.

Knoblauch, a three-time All-Star, was set to be inducted into the Twins Hall of Fame in late August, but now that's understandably not going to happen. Here's part of the team's tersely worded official statement:
In light of recent news reports surrounding Chuck Knoblauch, as well as direct communication with the former Twins second baseman, the Minnesota Twins have decided to cancel the team's 2014 Hall of Fame induction ceremony scheduled for August 23 at Target Field.
