As Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter continues to get gifts in his last go-round against each team this season, he had a pretty special farewell in Arlington, Texas, on Wednesday. As Rangers greats Michael Young and Ivan Rodriguez were presenting Jeter with his gifts (Yankees cowboy boots among them), President George W. Bush showed up to add an extra touch to the ceremony.

Here's video of everything, including the clip from an HBO special on the post-9/11 events surrounding the 2001 World Series in which Jeter and the then-president had a fun interaction (it's included in the video and is highly recommended if you've never seen it):

That moment is still a chilling moment for many, myself included. Good for the Rangers for including this in their farewell gift to Jeter.
