Man sentenced to eight years for burglarizing Hank Aaron's home

A man who stole two rings and two BMW vechicles from baseball legend Hank Aaron last July has pleaded guilty to theft and burglary charges and been sentenced to eight years in prison and 42 years of probation, per the Associated Press.

Isiah Slaton, 24, took what Aaron called "priceless" rings that were set to be donated to the Hall of Fame in addition to the vehicles.

There is also a co-defendent, whose trial begins with jury selection Tuesday and there are charges against a third man pending as well.
