VIDEOS: Javier Baez goes deep twice in third career MLB game

As you know, the Cubs called up top prospect Javier Baez just a few days ago. He introduced himself to the league by clubbing a home run in his first big league game. When you've been billed as an elite power hitter while coming up through the minors, there's no better way to make your debut than that.

Well, on Thursday, Baez did it in again. And again after that. He hit both his second and third home runs on Thursday, in his third career game. Here is the first blast ...

The second is more impressive because Baez went opposite way, but that's just me.

How rare is it for a player to hit three home runs in his first three career games? Surprisingly rare, in fact:

That really surprises me. I would have guessed a bunch of guys had run into three homers in their first three games over the years. I guess not.
