Happy Anniversary: Yankees hit three grand slams in one game

On this date in 2011, the Yankees set a major-league record by hitting three grand slams in one game. The three four-run homers contributed to New York's 22-9 drubbing of the Athletics.

This is the first and only time in baseball history a team hit three grand slams in one game.

The Yankees, by the way, have hit two grand slams all year this season.
