Man, you want to talk about some bad timing. I wrote in this week's Waiver Wire column, which was posted Tuesday afternoon, that Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford has managed to avoid serious injury this season, which has helped contribute to his resurgence. Unfortunately, hours later he suffers an ankle injury, which will likely send him to the disabled list.
Well, Crawford might not be a relevant topic anymore, but there is still plenty of good information in this week's column, which will help prepare you for the next Fantasy scoring period.
One player I really believe that can help Fantasy owners is Giants starting pitcher Ryan Vogelsong, who is averaging 25 Fantasy points over the previous four scoring periods. Vogelsong's numbers look a lot like they did in 2011 and 2012, when he finished as a top 40 Fantasy pitcher in Head-to-Head and Rotisserie leagues.
Check out more about Vogelsong and other players, including Athletics starting pitcher Tommy Milone, Rangers first baseman Mitch Moreland and Angels outfielder Kole Calhoun in this week's Waiver Wire column.
