PHILADELPHIA -- Raul Mondesi and Rafael Furcal each hit two home runs, Adam LaRoche added a two-run shot and the Atlanta Braves beat the Philadelphia Phillies 11-4 Friday night.

Furcal went 3-for-4 and scored four runs, and Brian Jordan had a three-run double to help Atlanta snap a two-game losing streak and get the Braves off to a good start on their seven-game road trip.

Atlanta manager Bobby Cox earned career win No. 2,008, tying him with Leo Durocher for eighth place on the career list.

Horacio Ramirez (1-0) has not proved incredibly durable in his two starts this year, following his 4 2/3 inning stint against New York with 5 1/3 innings against the Phillies. He gave up six hits and three runs, but was supported by an Atlanta offense that matched its highest run total of the season.

The Braves got to Gavin Floyd (1-1) with a four-run first and chased him in the fourth.

The rookie right-hander, coming off an outstanding first game against St. Louis, walked four batters in the first and gave up Jordan's double for a 4-0 lead. He also allowed a run on a wild pitch.

It may be a while before Floyd gets another start in the majors.

Floyd got a spot in the rotation after Vicente Padilla went on the DL April 1 with right triceps tendinitis. Padilla threw Friday and was expected to go again Sunday before being activated for a start Tuesday against Colorado.

Manager Charlie Manuel said before the game that Floyd could go to the bullpen instead of Triple-A Scranton when Padilla returns. That may leave righty reliever Pedro Liriano as the odd man out.

LaRoche hit a two-run homer off the beer billboard on the second deck in right for a 6-2 lead in the third and Mondesi hit a solo homer off in the fourth off Floyd, the fourth pick of the 2001 draft out of high school.

After giving up only three hits and a run in seven dominant innings against the Cardinals, Floyd gave up eight runs, five hits and walked five in 3 1/3 innings.

Chipper Jones reached out and poked an opposite-field double down third off Liriano to make it 7-2 in the fourth, and Mondesi and Furcal each added solo shots in the eighth.

Jimmy Rollins went 3-for-4 for the Phillies, who lost their third straight game, including the final two of a six-game road trip.

Rollins cost the Phillies a run with a baserunning blunder in the first. With Rollins on second and Placido Polanco on first, Bobby Abreu hit a liner off the center-field wall. Rollins inexplicably went to tag, then was thrown out at home. Jim Thome did follow two batters later with an RBI double that made it 4-2.

Rollins drove in two runs with a triple in the sixth that made it 9-4.

Atlanta released LHP Tom Martin and recalled LHP John Foster from Triple-A Richmond. Foster had a 1.59 ERA in three games at Richmond. He sat out last season with a shoulder injury and hasn't pitched in the major leagues since 2003 with Milwaukee. Martin had a 19.29 ERA in four games, giving up six hits and five runs in 2 1/3 innings. ... Jecolia White, daughter of former Eagles great Reggie White, sang the national anthem. ... Burrell extended his hitting streak to 10 games. ... Mondesi had his 20th career multi-homer game.
