Marlins-Phillies postponed by rain; doubleheader set for July 30

CBS SportsLine.com wire reports

PHILADELPHIA -- Rain forced postponement Saturday of the game between the Florida Marlins and Philadelphia Phillies and a pitching matchup of Sergio Mitre and Brett Myers.

The game was rescheduled for July 30 at 7:35 p.m. as part of a split doubleheader. The first game starts at 1:35 p.m.

The rainout pushed Mitre (1-1) and Myers (1-0) back a day and they are expected to pitch on Sunday.

It was the second home rainout this season for the struggling Phillies, who have lost three of four after a 4-2 road trip. Philadelphia is just 2-8 at home.
