Braves-Red Sox rained out, rescheduled as day-night DH

BOSTON -- The interleague game between the Atlanta Braves and Boston Red Sox on Friday night was rained out. It was rescheduled as part of a day-night doubleheader Saturday.

The opener will be played at the regular time of 1:05 p.m. The second game will start at 7:35 p.m.

Friday's forecast called for moderate to heavy rain throughout the afternoon and evening. The forecast for Saturday was for showers.

This was the Red Sox' fourth postponement of the season, all at Fenway Park.

Friday's tickets will be good for Saturday night's game.
