Earlier this week, MLB announced the rosters for the 2016 MLB All-Star Game save one spot in each league. That spot will be determined by the Final Vote, which is another round of fan voting. There are five players up for the Final Vote in each league

Thursday afternoon MLB announced the second update for the Final Vote voting. First, the National League:

  1. OF Starling Marte, Pirates
  2. 1B Brandon Belt, Giants
  3. SS Trevor Story, Rockies
  4. 3B Jake Lamb, Diamondbacks
  5. OF Ryan Braun, Brewers

Belt was the leading NL vote-getter in Wednesday's update, but Marte has since passed him by. Intrigue! Both are very worthy. So is Lamb! But no one asked me.

Starlin Marte is both ridiculously good at baseball and leading the NL Final Vote. USATSI

Now for the American League update:

  1. OF Michael Saunders, Blue Jays
  2. OF George Springer, Astros
  3. 2B Dustin Pedroia, Red Sox
  4. 2B Ian Kinsler, Tigers
  5. 3B Evan Longoria, Rays

The people are making their voices heard with internet clicks and Saunders, who has 16 home runs and a 143 OPS+, is in the lead. I find it pretty amazing there is a good chance Kinsler won't be an All-Star this season. He's been incredible.

The Final Vote runs through 4pm ET Friday. Here's the ballot.
