Thursday, of course, was Thanksgiving, so not much happened in terms of offseason MLB goings-on, but let's nonetheless recap all that bears mentioning ...

RUMORS

- Diamondbacks: MLB.com's Steve Gilbert reports that the D-backs are talking contract with arbitration-eligible right-hander Daniel Hudson. Hudson is coming off his second Tommy John surgery.

- Giants: MLB.com's Chris Haft reports that the Giants and RHP Ryan Vogelsong are closing in on a new contract.

- Mets: According to Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News, high-profile free agent hitters are still wary of playing in Citi Field, which they still perceive to be too much of a pitcher's environment.

- Rockies: Troy Renck tweets that while the Rox still have strong designs on 1B Justin Morneau, they view James Loney as a good fallback plan should their efforts to sign Morneau come up short.

- Twins: May have some interest in signing free agent RHP Phil Hughes.
