Astros scratch Bud Norris from scheduled Tuesday start
In a move that may precede a trade, the Astros have bumped right-hander Bud Norris from his scheduled Tuesday start against the Orioles.
Norris, the 28-year-old slider specialist, has pitched to a 3.93 ERA (104 ERA+), 1.41 WHIP and 2.09 K/BB ratio this season. Across parts of five major-league seasons, Norris owns an ERA+ of 92. He's not eligible for free agency until after the 2015 season, which should add to his appeal on the market.
