AUDIO: Carlos Beltran doubles and it gets loud at Busch
Wanna hear something really, really loud?
ST. LOUIS -- At this writing, Game 1 of the NLCS between the Dodgers and Cardinals is still ongoing. Already, though, we've had a couple of big moments. One of those was Carlos Beltran's clutch, two-out, two-run double in the third, which tied the score at 2-2. Let's just say the Busch Stadium crowd was roused into action. Give a listen to some ambient audio recorded from the auxilary press box ...
The first eruption you hear is when the ball leapt off Beltran's bat. The second is when the ball safely eluded Andre Ethier's glove just in from of the center-field wall.
Loud as thunder in concert is what that was.
