Ben Revere headed to DL with broken right foot from foul ball

Phillies center fielder Ben Revere suffered a broken right foot from a foul ball in the 11th inning of Saturday's first game of a day-night doubleheader with the White Sox, the team announced. He will be placed on the DL and evaluated by a specialist on Monday. Here's the play:
Pretty standard foul ball off the foot. It just hit him in the right (or wrong) spot.
Revere, 25, came into Saturday's play hitting .304/.338/.353 (91 OPS+) with 22 stolen bases, but he has been much better of late. Following a slow start to the season, he has hit .348/.374/.410 in his last 59 games.
The Phillies are already without Ryan Howard, who will miss up to eight weeks following knee surgery. At 46-48 and eight games back in the NL East following Saturday afternoon's loss in the opener, the team is trying to decide whether to buy or sell at the deadline. These two injuries could push them toward selling.
Philadelphia acquired Revere from the Twins over the winter for a package that included right-hander Vance Worley.
