Nationals star Bryce Harper was suspended by Major League Baseball for one game this past week for screaming obscenities at an umpire following a walk-off win by the Nats. Harper had been ejected earlier in the inning and came back out to "celebrate" with the following:

He immediately appealed the suspension, but now in the middle of a Saturday doubleheader, he has dropped the appeal. So in the nightcap, he'll serve his one game.

Harper went 0 for 2 with three walks, a steal and a run scored in the first game of the double-dip and is now hitting .273/.461/.627 with six doubles, 11 homers and 29 RBI on the season despite being walked an MLB-high 40 times in 154 plate appearances.
