Cubs prospect Javier Baez hits four homers in Class-A game

Cubs shortstop prospect Javier Baez entered the season ranked as the 16th-best prospect in all of baseball by Baseball America and by MLB.com. And the kid had himself a night Monday for High-A Daytona.

Baez was already a hot commodity, but he turned heads with a huge spring. He then got off to a slow start in High-A, but he has been absolutely crushing the ball of late. Before Monday night, he had hit .354/.429/.608 with nine doubles, a triple, three homers and 15 RBI in his previous 20 games. And Monday he went 4 for 4 with four bombs.

On the season, Baez, 20, is hitting .291/.339/.570 with 17 doubles, four triples, 13 homers and 44 RBI in 57 games.
