Hedges, 21, hit .260/.333/.390 with 25 doubles, four homers and 38 RBI in 86 games across High-A and Double-A last season. He enters this year ranked as the 58th best prospect in baseball by Baseball America.
And he definitely wears his proper gear behind the plate at all times.
