Derek Jeter back in Yankees lineup Sunday
After ankle surgery followed by a quad injury -- after just one game -- Yankees legend Derek Jeter is back in the lineup Sunday.

The Yankees enter Sunday eight games out in the AL East but only 3.5 out of the second wild card spot, so they're very much a player at this point and getting back their captain should certainly provide a boost.
Don't think it helps?
Yankees shortstops are hitting .215/.269/.291 this season, an utterly dreadful line. Jeter is 39 years old and coming off ankle surgery followed by a strained quad after just one game, yes, but he also hit .316/.362/.429 with 32 doubles, 15 homers and an MLB-best 216 hits last season. And now he's off the disabled list and in the lineup.
