Mariners closer Fernando Rodney has been added to the AL All-Star roster, MLB announced. It is his second All-Star Game selection (2012).

Rodney, 37, is replacing Rays lefty David Price. Price did not start as scheduled Saturday due to illness. He will start for Tampa Bay on Sunday and won't be available for the Midsummer Classic on Tuesday.

In 38 games and 36 1/3 innings this season, Rodney has a 1.98 ERA with a 1.13 WHIP. He leads the league in games finished (37) and saves (27).

The full All-Star rosters are right here. Rodney will be joining Mariners teammates Robinson Cano, Kyle Seager and Felix Hernandez in Minnesota.
