GIF: Jeff Baker pays the price for great sliding catch
Rangers utility man Jeff Baker made a great sliding catch on Tuesday, but he left the game with an injury following the play.
The most impressive part of the catch was how far Baker had to range to get there. He was way over in left-center originally. Also love the effort to get the ball back to the infield quickly from the seat of his pants.
Now the bad news: Baker was hurt on the play and left the game immediately. He was favoring his right leg/ankle/foot and was able to walk off the field under his own power. Great catch, unfortunate injury.
