If you have 50 grand just lying around and love baseball memorabilia, you really missed out a few days ago.

An Atlanta Braves jersey worn by Hank Aaron in 1969 sold for $49,918.13 in an online auction this past Friday on Lelands.com.

While the seller of the jersey was anonymous, the website notes it was not Aaron and was instead someone who was given the jersey by Aaron as a gift several decades ago. As noted on AL.com, Aaron made $92,500 in the 1969 season.

Aaron, 79, is the MLB career leader in RBI (2,297) and total bases (6,856). He long held the home run record with 755, but Barry Bonds has since broken that.
