Prepare the fire emoji, because Mia Faieta's performance on Saturday was more than worthy. The Cedar Grove (New Jersey) High School sophomore threw a perfect game, but it was even more special than that.
Check out the score book of local reporter Sean Reilly:

That's 21 up, 21 down with 21 strikeouts. Holy smokes. Hopefully the area fantasy softball players all had her active in daily fantasy formats. Seriously, though, that's an insane performance and something she'll never forget. Here's the finish:

Cedar Grove advanced to the sectional finals on the strength of that clutch performance.
As noted by the folks over at northjersey.com, Faieta has a 0.00 ERA in 25 innings in the tournament, having allowed only four hits and four walks with 61 strikeouts. On the season, she has struck out 321 hitters. Good lord.
Kudos on the accomplishment and the season as a whole, Mia. That's some damn fine work.
