The Marlins will take the field Monday night for the first time since losing their beloved teammate Jose Fernandez, and they'll do so united as a group with Jose's number 16.

We already saw that number 16 has been stenciled on the back of the pitcher's mound in Marlins Park and you can bet that many tears will be shed during a pre-game moment of silence for the fallen All-Star.
The game is between the Mets and Marlins at 7:10 p.m. ET in Miami. It has playoff implications, but that will be taking a back seat on Monday.

The Marlins also have placed Fernandez's cap and glove on the mound in the lead up to the game:

Further, Marlins president David Samson told reporters that the team will wear number 16 patches for Fernandez starting on Tuesday (Will Manso).
