Cubs right-hander Matt Garza won't start again until after Tuesday's trade deadline, instead pitching later in the week, even though what uniform he'll be wearing is still up in the air.

Garza left his last start, Saturday against the Cardinals, after just three innings due to cramping in his right triceps. He was scheduled to pitch Friday at Wrigley, but an off day for the Cubs allowed them to move Travis Wood to Garza's spot in the rotation.
A clean MRI is something any team trading for Garza would likely require, so it's good news for the Cubs that the exam showed no real damage, but it still may be a stretch for a team to deal for Garza without seeing him pitch again. The one advantage is that he's no rental, whatever team gets the 28-year-old for one more season before he hits free agency.
CBSSports.com Insider Jon Heyman reports the Dodgers would prefer Garza of Ryan Dempster.
