The National League All-Stars just added a familiar face. Nationals ace Max Scherzer has been added to the team, taking the active roster spot of teammate Stephen Strasburg.

To be clear, Strasburg isn't pitching on Sunday nor is he currently injured, but he recently came off the disabled list and apparently the Nationals don't want him used. So Scherzer's in.

Strasburg will still make the trip to his home city of San Diego and be part of the festivities, he just won't be available to pitch.
