Mississippi State donates equipment to Jackson State following bus fire
The Jackson State baseball team received a bus load of donated equipment from Mississippi State after theirs was destroyed in a bus fire.
Earlier this week, the Jackson State University baseball team lost most of its equipment and luggage when their bus caught fire along I-20/59 in Alabama. No one was injured, most importantly.
Equipment is far from cheap, however, especially for a relatively small school like Jackson State. Thankfully their neighbors at Mississippi State stepped up and donated some gear, which will help them finish the season.
People helping people play baseball. Well done, Bulldogs.
