The Nationals have, once again, lost their starting catcher to injury. The team has placed Wilson Ramos on the 15-day disabled list:
Wilson Ramos says he's going on the DL. He's upbeat, hopes it'll be 15 days or so. He thinks Sandy Leon is on his way to San Francisco.

Ramos, 26, suffered the injury while running the bases earlier this week. He missed more than a month with a wrist injury earlier this season and has battled hamstring, knee, foot and finger injuries over the years.
In 24 games this year, Ramos has hit .261/.314/.370 (89 OPS+) with seven doubles and one home run. He has played in only 240 of 648 possible games since 2011 (37 percent).
Leon, 25, has hit .213 in 27 career big league games over the last three years, all with Washington. Jose Lobaton will take over the starter for the time being.
