General managers Jerry Dipoto, Rick Hahn and Kevin Towers completed a three-team trade Tuesday in Orlando in a hotel suite. Here's a picture to prove it.
ORLANDO - The Los Angeles Angels, Chicago White Sox and Arizona Diamondbacks just completed a three-team trade during the Winter Meetings -- sending Mark Trumbo to the D-Backs while the White Sox and Angels got promising packages.
And this is a pretty cool look behind the scenes courtesy of the Angels' official Twitter account:
That is Angels GM Jerry Dipoto on the left, White Sox GM Rick Hahn in the middle and D-Backs GM Kevin Towers on the right. It would appear they hammered out the deal in the suite of one of the GMs, in person. So that's a pretty cool behind-the-scenes look.
