PHOTO: Everyman Ryan Dempster takes in game from bleachers
Despite making almost $90 million in his playing career, Ryan Dempster took in a game from a general admission bleacher seat Thursday in Wrigley Field.
Ryan Dempster made almost $90 million in his playing career -- which may or may not resume after he sits out the 2014 season -- so if he wants to take in a game, he could surely grab a suite or at least a front row ticket.
Nah, how about just a general admission bleacher ticket to Wrigley Field?
Note the Red Sox World Series ring on his right ring finger.
That was taken (by me, from phone to TV. Viva la technology!) during Thursday afternoon's Cubs-Pirates game. Those bleacher seats are general admission, meaning each seat is claimed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Well done, Dempster.
