Once a teammate, always a teammate? That certainly appears to be the case with Corey Knebel's former minor-league 'mates.
On Saturday, 22-year-old right-hander Corey Knebel made his MLB for the Tigers during the course of their 12-2 loss to the Rangers. Knebel didn't fare especially well (3 ER in 1 IP), but big-league debuts are special things regardless of outcome.
As the following photo will show, some of Knebel's former teammates at Low-A West Michigan, where Knebel spent the 2013 season, realized the importance of the occasion and made sure they didn't miss it ...
