Before their opening day clash in the Bronx, the Red Sox and Yankees teamed up to remember the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary massacre.
Last month, the Red Sox and Yankees announced plans to honor the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Conn. On Monday, those plans came to fruition, as a pregame ceremony was held before the opening day contest in the Bronx.
